TechnikAL manufactures systems with advanced security in mind, thus emphasizing the most effective protection of human integrity and property. The increasing rate of burglaries - especially during the day - has also significantly affected the construction sector, making protection against burglary and vandalism a necessity of the day and not an unnecessary luxury.
Security categories are determined according to the type of burglar and the burglary method and range between WK1 and WK3.
In more detail:
1. WK 1 refers to the re-grafting of the leaf:
- With physical violence (kicking, pushing, lifting, pulling, etc.).
- Break-in time less than 3 minutes.
2. WK 2 refers to burglary:
- With simple, small tools like screwdrivers, pliers.
- Break-in time ranges from 3 – 5 minutes.
3. WK 3 refers to burglary:
- With larger tools such as screwdrivers, crowbar, wedge, etc.
- Break-in time ranges from 5 – 20 minutes.
Based on the above, a system with the basic security that is standard in the perimeter mechanism can be upgraded up to WK 3, at minimal cost.
As for the glass, it increases depending on the security level, i.e. it becomes 2-layer, 3-layer, 4-layer, etc. The strength of the glass is one of the most important components for the security levels of laminate, coated with membranes for anti-ballistic action, at various levels.
Following on from burglary protection and in more specialized applications, we encounter the requirement of anti-ballistic or bulletproof constructions. These systems are mainly applied in banks, shops and residences where high security is required.
